Today showed me how important human connection is on a basic level. We should be making these connections on a daily basis. It's not only good for our own mental health but for those around us as well.
Today meant to me making a greater connection with very inspiring women of Inmar. I was able to make new connections that I may not have had the chance to do so without this moment in time. I am very GRATEFUL to have been given this opportunity.
I feel so uplifted from hearing other’s stories and motivated to show gratitude. I also want to be more aware of when I’m feeling grateful so I can communicate it in the moment.
We are a community and can lean on each other when needed. At the end of the day we have either experienced or are experiencing something similar. We have something to be thankful for and we can learn to see the positive in a negative experience.
Today gave me time to focus on myself and actively listen to others. I loved this time today connecting with new people and others I already knew, but had never talked with them about these things.
I am grateful for the reminder that I am not alone. I have sisters out there who are waiting and willing to connect too. Gratitude extended is never a waste of time. Speak into the lives of others - regularly.

This session allowed me to give myself permission to take time out of my busy schedule for ME. To connect with other women, to connect with myself, and to find ways to continue to improve myself. To be vulnerable and continue to connect with others.

Being vulnerable and sharing with others promotes growth and a positive shift in mindset.
It at first felt awkward to share truly vulnerable things with people I don’t know, but I felt an overwhelming feeling of release after sharing. Perhaps it was because I didn’t know them at first I was able to be fully open and honest. I felt heard and seen after sharing. It was very cathartic.
My cup is full, listening to the stories, and so thankful to work for a company with so many great leaders. I am inspired and so aware of how many others I need to meet so we can pour into each other.

I still feel fortunate, for the team I have, for the kids that call me dad, and for the father and family that shaped me.

It was a moment to step back and re-humanize a little. It was cathartic to know that I’m not alone in my feelings. It was meaningful to know that I work with people who can help me grow as a person.
Today made space for me to slow down and get in touch with what I was feeling, what my colleagues are feeling, and how we're often going through the same things without knowing it. By opening up and connecting, it allowed me (and hopefully the rest of us) to realize that we can do it together rather than alone and quietly.
Today is an opportunity to reset and realize how much good stuff is happening and to get control over how that happens and why it happens.
Wonderful reminder to express gratitude to others you may often overlook. Reminder that everyone here is a person experiencing a lot of the same things. Appreciation to Jen for organizing this.
More connected to team; I need to listen more often; appreciation.
Today felt like an affirmation to be human first, and in a place that often prioritizes only outcomes, a reminder that it's not just monetary ROI.
A moment to pause. 2. A moment to bond with incredible people. 3. A moment to ask myself to change 1 thing.
Giving credit instead of just appreciation. Focusing less on the future. Understanding others feel the same.
A good reminder to communicate gratitude to people where you might have assumed they just assumed gratitude through things you've done. Time and life is short and it's a good reminder to be mindful of that.
A moment to take a breath and pause from the chaos; 2. An opportunity to connect with people I otherwise wouldn't have the ability to; 3. A reminder that you have control over your perspective of life.
I got reaffirmation that I’m not alone in how I feel. Gratitude comes from unexpected places. I need to understand the language of gratitude from the receiver’s perspective.
It was inspiring, extremely valuable to interconnect and get energies from peers. Thanks you for that!
I remember how much of an impact my grandmother had on her young great grandchildren. Thank you so much Babi :)
Today meant a lot to me, getting to know my personal angles of my co-workers, getting connected emotionally with them, and most and foremost I was encouraged with how everyone were bonding and give me lots of reason to be optimistic.
Gratitude! Time to pause and think about people who really matter.
I thought about things I had been neglecting and putting off thinking about. I will definitely do things different that I wouldn't have done without this session. I have to put the same effort into my personal life as my professional life.
Today was a great reminder of the value of human connection. I didn’t realize the impacts, outside of my own personal well-being, that gratitude can have. Given gratitude can be the prerequisite to happiness, practicing gratitude across my org is something I’ll do regularly. A happier team is a team that crushes.
I felt connected, heard, valued - with a strong team bond and psychological safety. Thank you Chris and the whole team!
Realizing how similar we are and can help each other once we open up and share things.
Confirmation that others are feeling similar. Invest extra time to establish connection and understand where people come from. Gratitude can come from many places.
A deeper connection with my peers. A pause in the constant struggle of triaging tasks.
Today, we created a space to be free and to be present. We recognized we aren’t alone and that we are more similar than we are different. This allowed us to be heard and seen amongst people we spend the majority of our time with building, operating, and getting 1% better with every day.
Connection, Gratitude, Knowing each other better, great start for this day!
A time to reflect. A chance to take time to be grateful in a moment of difficulty. A chance to connect with colleagues in a more meaningful way.
I remember why I really like to be here, more than help unknown people I love to be a family for my team. Thankful for each of you!
Today was meaningful because I got to meet just a small fraction of the other people at this firm that I don't usually talk to directly. I'm glad I got to put a lot of the other aspects of this firm into context and meet cool new people!
This has been really good for a change in perspective, realizing that you can be grateful for everything and reaffirm that people really do remember you for how you made them feel.
I realized how lucky I am with each one of the individuals that surround me. I realized how sometimes I lose focus on what is really important. And I just learn how important each person is and always appreciate their effort.
Today was a great learning experience that helped me appreciate where my coworkers come from and who they are.
A sharing experience, an endearing moment, Getting to know my team.
It has been uplifting to bring our spread-out team together. I love seeing the team support each other. It is such a warm and wonderful feeling. May we continue this feeling together!
Grateful, connected, relaxed, peaceful.
This was a meeting I was looking forward to because I knew it was a chance to get to see people in the firm that I haven't seen in a while and meet the new people I rarely have communication with.
It was great to connect more with the team. A lot of things to be thankful for. Grateful for this team.
I am with the feeling of calling my dad to tell him how much I love him. I will tell my best friend that I am thankful she never left me alone. To Messi for always making love life.
I got to connect with peers, it was good to not talk about anything job-related, as I have only met one person of this law firm in person. Sometimes we forget there is a human behind every position.
It made me feel connected, grateful for the people around me, but at the same time realize that I am worth just as much.
I’ve connected with several beautiful people with whom I haven’t really spoken with before, or at least not at this level. I appreciate each of you. And I had a realization that there’s someone in my life whom I haven’t thanked for who he is and how much beauty, humor, and love he adds to my life, as well as to the world.
Today meant a moment of letting down my guard for the first time and trusting everyone to listen.
Today was a wonderful reminder of the importance of gratitude. Today was also important in reminding me of how many of the things we all do contribute impacts other people much more than we realize. Today was sweet and showed the goodness of vulnerability.

Connection, Open-minded

These past few months have been a little bit tough, especially with the pandemic, but today’s gratitude session allowed me to connect with my peers and learn from their experiences. Now, I feel much more confident entering my 10 Week Internship Program, and I have a more positive outlook on my future ahead!
Tonight was a new experience for me as I was able to speak with fellow interns from different schools and backgrounds and learn about what unifies us and what makes us unique from one another. At first I felt nervous to meet new people but now I feel hopeful that this summer internship will be a great experience to network and learn new things.
It was so great to slow down, and take the time to think about the good, but in a real way. By starting with how we all felt, and organically start opening up, it's amazing! Such a great start to the week!
Tonight helped relax me and get excited for the internship. All my peers seem a lot more real and a lot more human. I’m very eager to meet my intern class now!
The most impactful aspect of this session was getting to connect face to face with other incoming citi interns. This was the first chance I have had to meet any other interns, and it made me much less nervous and more relaxed to meet people in the same position as myself!
I enjoyed tonight because I got to connect with some great people. Some of them were in time zones 3 hours behind me. It felt great to open up to strangers because I could tell they were trustworthy.
Tonight I was once again reminded that although many of us come from vastly different and diverse backgrounds, when united by a common bond, we are able to connect as human beings. Despite being strangers, I felt that I was able to quickly get closer to many people here tonight.

Help me connected with everyone. I feel so grateful for having this session! So happy to see so many faces tonight.
Tonight, was an opportunity to get to know my peers and a time to reflect and relate. I’m super grateful and look forward to getting to know everyone even more over the coming weeks!
It's strange having to get into conversations with pretty much strangers, but oddly enough, it was easier in a way to be in a safe place, without judgement.
Talking with others helped ease some stress and uncertainty. Also helped meet some new people and have some face time after a day of webinars.
This call provided a great opportunity to connect with other people in similar situation to myself and understand how they are feeling. It was easy to see how similar we were and made it easier for me to prepare for the next 10 weeks.

Opening up and having others listen and genuinely care was the best feeling. It was exciting hearing others with similar experiences.
I didn't know what to expect from this meeting, but before it started I was definitely anxious about a lot of things (the internship, being alone in a new location for the summer). But I ended up feeling so energized after talking to everyone and definitely am in a more grateful and hopeful mindset now.
Tonight showed me that no matter how difficult the experience gets, I'm not alone. There are tons of people on this very call that understand what I'm going through despite our differences.
I was able to connect with people on a human level without any pressure. Nice to feel understood and to be able to have a moment of self reflection while listening to new stories.
It a place for finding common ground and connection. It helps me realize what I already have. I was reminded that those people who I appreciated are my source of courage and energy to moving forward to embrace challenges and difficulties.
It showed how even though we are all far apart, there's still so much similarity in feelings which helps to feel more connected amongst the group. It also showed how mentality can quickly be shifted in the right group.
I feel like I am not alone. All of us are going through a huge transition and all want the best for our future. It made a huge shift in my mindset.

It was amazing to see all the different interns throughout the citi program. I am excited to be working alongside these individuals and be a part of a community. Tonight allowed me to see emotions in a different way and made me even more excited to see my emotions weren't alone.
Refilled my cup.
A great reset
Nice chatting, but I'm still tired
I'm grateful for this team. Thank you.
Renewed my spirit
Today I've learned that it's important to think about both negative and positive influencers in my life. I need to understand the right language of gratitude for each person I want to thank. I want to pay things forward.
Today was a great opportunity to come together with a community that means a lot to me. I also was able to share something deeply personal that I had previously only shared with a small handful of humans and it was painful, but also really validating of the work I have put into therapy and healing. Who would have known this event could achieve that!?
Today has been a wonderful break within a hectic day - a chance to make new connections, take time for reflection, reconnect with a friend from a previous company. Thankful for the chance to step back. I remain optimistic about the new chapter ahead. Thanks to all.
I'm so grateful for the openness and raw emotions from this group. It shows that even though we may not know each other well, we have similarities that invisibly bind us together.
Today is exactly what I needed. It helped me feel open to change. To be brave in a moment of ambivalence. I am moving forward from today with a new found gratitude for how to be the person I want to show up everyday.
Connection - Connecting with others in the same community that I wouldn't have before. Nice to meet new people!
Virtual Hugs - we all have something going on, leading with empathy is critical
Curiosity - lead with open-ended questions and curiosity
The meaning behind today's session is powerfully simple. Live and let live, and along the journey, help one another.
Today was an opportunity to pause - during hours that otherwise tend to be fast paced - and reflect on larger aspects of my life and the people in it
A pause in life to remind me how connected we truly are to each other,. Vulnerability is a mutual gift. It brought a calm and optimism in me that was not there 90 minutes ago.
Today has really made me feel like a part of a community. I have long felt grateful to have a group of people to talk work with, but now I feel a deeper connection and the permission to be vulnerable. Thank you everyone!!
This session made me feel more human! Remembering what is MOST important to my life and how I can translate these learnings to different moments in my life.

I really enjoy everyone here
Gave me a moment to step back from the daily grind and reflect
There are so many great people on this team. And yes, I like candles.
There’s growth after the adversity
Feeling a sense of positivity
Reminded me at the end of the day we are all scared, we are all humans, and we all look for love and support. Learn to feel comfortable feeling uncomfortable as the only constant in life is change.
A reminder that there is always a path forward
Being newer to the organization, I learned a ton. Today helped provide perspective on the power of gratitude and what moving as a unit could bring us.
Expressing gratitude at work fosters a positive workplace culture, acknowledging the collective efforts that contribute to success. Taking moments for reflection not only cultivates personal growth but also allows teams to learn from experiences, paving the way for continuous improvement and shared achievements.
The ability to be still and sit in how you are feeling, that it is real and then coming out with a renewed sense of gratefulness and intentionality is refreshing.
A reminder that I'm not alone and though everyone has different experiences and differences, there is a community that has empathy for each other.
Thank you, Chris!!!
Today I thought more about learning to give gifts that are actually received well.
Today reminded me how much I appreciate this company and the people I get to share this journey with. My word at the beginning was "Missing Everyone" and this session helped me connect even if virtually.
An opportunity to feel that others are going through what you are, but have never told anyone about.
I am filled with love for all these beautiful people. I love hearing the different voices. I wish I could hear from every single person in this gathering! I feel more open and receptive and a renewed sense of connection.
It gave me the opportunity to connect on a deeper level with coworkers that I don't get to connect with on a regular basis.
Today has been very powerful. Eye opening to others feelings and situations. And wanting to connect with others more to share great experiences and connect through hard times. We’re all here for each other ❤️

Greater connection and understanding of who I work with.
So great to put work aside for a minute and make a human connection with the team.
Realizing how blessed of a life I truly have had, and that each day I need to grasp onto that gratitude for what is around me. The Jones' don't matter to me.
A chance to reflect on your own experiences by way of the experiences of others.
It reminded me how there are many people in life no matter the age that have gone through or are going through similar experiences.
A reminder of how we are all connected. Value of connecting with people close to us. Value of being present in each moment with each person.
Work every day to reach out.
Engage and Be Present
Try to move out of my own personal headspace and engage People in a shared place.
Interesting perspective on communication.
Today helped reconnect with co-workers and was a helpful reminder that we're not just our roles at work. Everyone had problems you cannot see.
Able to see the whole team again
Being grateful in the worst of times can change everything.
Today I was excited to get to talk to teammates who I haven't spoke to in quite a while. And get to talk about things besides work. Things of the heart.
Re-connection and re-energization. It has been good to reconnect (and connect) with a few co-workers and hear some of what others are experiencing in life currently.
The opportunity to share. The Gift of hearing someone's story. The smiles and laughs that encouraged. The reminder of those who have helped me along the way.
Appreciation for the the uniqueness of everyone and how they operate and how to be respectful and learn from them.

Growth through sharing, communications, empathy and gratitude.
Be conscious of showing gratitude and when you could have shown it.
Refocus on what is important in life.
Learning to open up emotionally.
Show more respect. You never know what people are really going through. We wear masks for covid but it seems that we all wear another mask while at work. Game face mask.

Connection in a time of disconnect.
Connecting at a personal level with my co-workers.
So grateful to meet my teammates.
Found a new way to find, experience, and give gratitude in day to day life.
To know we are not alone, with any positive or negative emotion. Everyone has their own things going on, but we all care about each other.
Today’s chat was a good reminder to send effective gratitude to those that don’t receive it enough. Listen and learn about how people receive these gratitudes.
I appreciated connecting, albeit briefly, with those I haven't seen in a while. Hearing stories openly is something less common in the last two years, so extra awesome these days.
Anyone can be grateful for even the smallest thing.
Today was a great exercise of connection and a way to practice empathy.
Another beautiful day, press forward!
Today was effective at bringing me into the moment and connecting with my teammates in both the group and breakout chats. It helped me pause and think about a few people I’m thankful for. It also helped me think about the language I use versus my wife and family in how we appreciate feedback.
Met some pretty cool people. It's weird how connected the world is.
Chance to talk to others and take my mind off my own issues.
Decluttered the unnecessary distractions of life to be grounded and focused on what I want to matter in my life.

Everyone has different influences that have different levels of importance.
It meant having a dialog on how to greatly express gratitude.
Today is busy, hectic, but grateful to be here. I am excited to move forward this year. Can't wait to see what comes, but will enjoy what I have now.
Today meant a time to reflect and think about how I show up. I don’t always consider how people like to be shown gratitude. Give me some new tools to consider in how I interact with my team and loved ones at home. Time to reflect and recenter - what is important.
Today was an opportunity to take pause and remind ourselves of the power that is found in being grateful. Something that should be included in our everyday presence.
More gratitude and more listening.
Take the time to appreciate.

We are not alone in our feelings.

Helped me better understand the special part of personal connections.
It has been so awesome to talk to teammates that we are in isolation from! Great to talk to Rob, Jennifer, and Margaret, may we all be able to talk in person soon!
I can't remember the last time I felt this connected. Thank you (gratitude) to everyone who trusted me with their story.
Today meant getting to know FMG better as a company and the individuals here. It meant solidifying my decision to join this team.
Today meant being authentic and radically honest. It meant sharing uncomfortable truths with people I don't know at all but that also meant connection. Not superficial connection but actual human connection.
Revealing.
What tonight meant for me: Wow. It was so beautiful to share such honest, curious, meaningful and vulnerable conversations with my breakout room partners. Its so amazing to be reminded that everyone needs love, everyone is working through something, and so many of the things we go through are such universal human challenges that are not so unique. I was moved by the authenticity of everyones shares.
Tonight meant connecting with others and feeling seen, heard, and validated. Tonight I was able to re-think about my past when I was hit by the car and see that I can honor those paramedics by living my life to the fullest. Tonight I committed to no more suicide attempts or self harm. I really got a lot out of this, thank you Chris and everyone else here
Tonight meant an escape from chaos. A new sense of peace was cultivated. I feel more whole.

feeling less alone. by being honest and open I saw that others had similar experiences
Tonight meant for me that I'm not alone in my struggles or the only person who has issues. It taught me the importance of listening to others to understand their lives and options. Tonight opened my eyes to places that I haven't wanted to look at.
Finally being in a safe space of self injury survivors has inspired me & made me feel very connected. Thank you everyone, for reminding me that I'm not fighting this alone & that we all have the power of recovery. <3
It's not as hard as I think or feel to connect with others. People are so multifaceted and that is so beautiful. It's cool to see how I can be real with both positives and negative's. I can live as someone in the grey.
Not all gratitude given is gratitude heard was also a reminder to me that I can honor my Gram's memory by the way I choose to live going forward.
Today was an act of self care and the beginning of a long overdue journey of self gratitude. I was very willful coming into it and now I'm filled with gratitude for others as well as my self. I feel seen, heard, and understood; it was exactly what i needed. I'm forever grateful that I survived my attempt.
Today meant that I can be grateful for people I never even met. Tonight meant looking to the past and finding gratitude in grief and loss. The absence of people doesn't have to be only pain it can be gratitude in the experiences they never got to experience. I can experience them for them
Thankful for the stories told in my group today.
Today reminded me I am not alone with my concerns/experiences. And it is not necessary to have a plan or be sure about where things are going.
Connection with others and myself! Positive mindset change. Hopeful. Good vibes.
I came to the annual meeting not expecting to leave feeling so emotionally fulfilled. Today I got to meet new people at more than face value, I got to meet their raw selves, and that was enlightening.
A chance to connect with colleagues while we are all remote; to meet people as a new employee; to get more in tune with my current state.
Reconnecting, especially with colleagues I work with on a daily basis.
Meant being open with people I don't know in a way that is generally uncomfortable. Appreciate the opportunity to push myself in a way that I don't really enjoy.
Engage and Be Present.
Try to move out of my own personal headspace and engage People in a shared place.
Interesting perspective on communication.
Today helped reconnect with co-workers and was a helpful reminder that we're not just our roles at work. Everyone had problems you cannot see.
Able to see the whole team again.
Being grateful in the worst of times can change everything.
Today I was excited to get to talk to teammates who I haven't spoken to in quite a while. And get to talk about things besides work, things of the heart.
Re-connection and re-energization. It has been good to reconnect (and connect) with a few co-workers and hear some of what others are experiencing in life currently.
The opportunity to share. The gift of hearing someone's story. The smiles and laughs that encouraged. The reminder of those who have helped me along the way.
Appreciation for the uniqueness of everyone and how they operate and how to be respectful and learn from them.
Enlightened on others' experiences, grateful for everything, happy and feeling better than I came in.
You always have something to be grateful for no matter how bad times might be.
Opening up to our ONE TEAM, great stuff!! brings us even closer!!
Today made me pause and self-reflect on purpose.
Fun and enjoyable. Made me reflect on life and my effect on it.
Chance to reflect and be open and honest.
Connection in a time of disconnect.
Connecting at a personal level with my co-workers.
So grateful to meet my teammates.
Found a new way to find, experience, and give gratitude in day-to-day life.
Today so far has been a great opportunity to get to know my coworkers better. We are all human. We need to take more time to understand the people around us.
Today was very inspiring for me! I feel more connected to my teammates and I love getting to know everyone on a deeper level.
I’m hopeful for the future!
Today was very inspiring for me.
A great way to connect with my StoneAge Family.
It was great to get to know some of my teammates better and that we were all comfortable enough to share with each other honestly.
I am so appreciative of everyone's stories, experiences, and courage. I appreciate everyone's engagement and I feel connected to all of you!
Feel grateful for the people I have around me.
Connect with more people on a personal level, engage, appreciate.
Today reminded me that listening to what is happening with my peers helps me act in a way that is helpful to them. Listening also validated my feelings. I miss the connection to my peers.
Grateful to all my StoneAge family.
Breakdown of barriers to be our true selves and grateful for that.
I feel heard and welcome in a group that is appreciating me, and all of the other people. I'm very happy to be a part of this!
Meeting new person, seeing everyone's caring side, slowing down to think about emotions, values.
It felt a bit freeing.
It’s wonderful to see everyone, really does feel connecting. I have some new things to think about and a book to check out. I miss you all and look forward to meeting those I haven’t yet met!
Connections with coworkers. Remembrance and thankfulness. How to listen with empathy, the importance of it. Genuine care and concern for others.
We are not alone in our feelings.
Enlightening to hear what everyone is grateful for. It was nice to reminisce on things that I am grateful for. Reflecting on all the good and positive was centering. A chance to reset and think about the positive.
Circle of life and gratitude.
Work every day to reach out.
Engage and be present.
Try to move out of my own personal headspace and engage people in a shared place.
Today highlights the importance of setting a mindset to aid in carrying out the day with balance.
Not superficial connection but actually human connection.
Revealing.
Thankful for the stories told in my group today.
Today reminded me I am not alone with my concerns/experiences. And it is not necessary to have a plan or be sure about where things are going.
Connection with others and myself! Positive mindset change. Hopeful. Good vibes.

Reconnecting, especially with colleagues I work with on a daily basis.
Meant being open with people I don't know in a way that is generally uncomfortable. Appreciate the opportunity to push myself in a way that I don't really enjoy. Glad to see that FMG is working toward these efforts.
Today meant a day off from the work grind. Unexpectedly my kid was home with us due to COVID exposure at school but it meant a day to connect and I'm glad to have been part of it!
Was really an inspiring time and I feel much more connected to the rest of the company, having started here during the pandemic and never having been in an FMG office!
Getting to know FMGers as people.
Nice to see lots of different faces of work colleagues, both people I've gotten to know and those who I haven't really met before.
A day to connect and recharge.
Connecting with new people!
Learning, sharing. Be real.
A day to not think about work.
I learned a lot about people I wouldn’t have known otherwise.
Thankful for my family.
I'm not sure I got that much out of today. This part really doesn't resonate with me well.
Reconnected.
Appreciate the opportunity to connect with colleagues that I’ve never met before, and also to be able to say hi to people I haven’t seen in a long time.
Today was a long day but it was refreshing to see everyone. I made some awesome connections and got to feel proud of all of our work.
Today allowed me to forgive someone and shift that memory to reflect all of the positive outcomes it created.
Reconnecting in a remote world!!
Not to underestimate small moments of reflection.
Vulnerability is not as scary as it seems.
It was great being able to make new connections and revive old ones.
I feel (re)connected!!!
Enjoyed hanging with people I knew and didn't know.
Thankful that FMG values having a strong culture and connected workforce.
Today is proof of how FMG really cares about all of us.
Thankful to remember how far I have come.
Talking about non-work-related things.
I've never felt more connected to my team.
Be there for others.
I enjoyed getting to 1) see what FMG has done over the last year and seeing what impactful work the various teams have engaged in; 2) Feeling connected to coworkers I have never met.
Reconnecting.
I feel connected to a bunch of folks at the company. I also had a great reminder to give myself more credit and gratitude for getting me here to today.
That I don’t have to hate mandatory annual meetings.
A needed social break.
Today meant taking a break, taking a breath, getting to know some new colleagues, and recharging.
It was nice to connect with my fellow FMG-ers! Today has been an invigorating exercise in the positive for me!
Nice to be part of a company that cares so much about people and connection.
I think today was a place of connection and understanding. Was super nice to connect in a human sense as opposed to on just a colleague level.
We were challenged to get really (un)comfortable and authentic, and I think we did great, but there’s work to be done.
Meeting new people and finding common ground.
Today was an opportunity to recalibrate.
To be honest, the rest of the annual meeting felt like the norm. People talking at us and annual metrics, which I'm grateful to know, but isn't all that engaging. This connect exercise truly gave me the ability to interact with other people in a way I hadn't been able to since joining FMG during the pandemic.
Today meant that I could connect to coworkers a bit deeper or more excessively than any other day of the year.
Today meant that I could come to terms with gratitude and who I should give this to that I haven’t.
Today meant I got to meet new people!
Today meant that I got to meet so many coworkers. There's more than I could know personally but it was so great to learn little things about people through the chat.
Connecting with others at FMG!
Togetherness despite the distance.
Gains from being vulnerable and taking risks.
I felt a part of something real and wonderful.
To live more in the moment.
Practicing showing up and listening.
How important it is to put aside the to-do lists and connect, really connect. Loved this!
It showed me how thankful I am to be in this workplace with so many great peers.
Be a positive force.
Connected.
Today meant getting to meet new people at FMG, who we may never work with but who we feel mutual respect and connection.
Inspiring morning. People here are amazing. There are two coworkers I just realized how grateful I am for, I should let them know.
I feel like I'm learning how to connect virtually in a way that is going to feel as fulfilling as being in the office in person.
Got to learn people on a deeper level 2. I was inspired by their stories 3. Grateful, grateful, grateful.
A conscious and intentional break from the day to day to process my own thoughts, a space to share them with others, and to open myself to them in turn.
Grateful to hear perspectives and stories of those I haven't had the chance to meet before today.
Great exercise in getting to know people, how we connect and the things we are grateful for.
Today was a breather! It was a chance to show people who I am in a different way, to see the good FMG does, and to learn who other FMGers are when they are more relaxed.
Today has been inspiring. I am grateful for this company and its people (OMG the PEOPLE!). I feel honored to be a part of it. I am hopeful for what is to come.
FMG cares, it is not all about the profit. I feel humble. I feel thankful.
Accessing the collective humanity of a group of people who may never have otherwise known each other even existed. Connectedness experienced.
I feel more connected and proud of FMG's mission.
A moment to reconnect, rediscover the company-employee purpose, appreciate everyone's emotions and contribution. To know we're people and not deliverable machines.
Today meant being more present and grateful for the people that I have in my life. Also recognizing those who have inspired me and helped to get where I am. I was great meeting new people and connecting with teammates.
Was really great to meet a ton of people I hadn’t met before at work after joining the company in the midst of the pandemic - I hope to see your smiling faces more often.
I've been feeling so disconnected in many ways (professionally and mentally). Today really brought me back and reminded me how many GREAT people we have here and how many shared experiences we have. I feel more in tune with FMG and myself.
It was nice intentionally taking time to reflect on my thoughts and feelings and to connect with people I've never met before.
It was an opportunity to see the people who I work with and connect on a human level that doesn't revolve around work. To see that the past couple of years has affected people in different ways. Some have had harder times than others.
I need a drink.
Helped connect and realize that everyone here has their own struggles and joys.
I am grateful to be here.
Thankful to work for a company like FMG, interact and connect with amazing individuals, and appreciative for this hopeful environment.
Able to be myself and meet new people with the same situation.
Appreciate the authenticity people brought to the discussion today.
That it's important to step back from the day-to-day and that it's easy to connect to others as people if we just talk to each other authentically.
Thankful to be with a company that really cares about its employees and greater causes, not just about the bottom line.
Did not think about one deadline.
I really want to know more about all the PhD research everyone in the company has done. Lunch & Learns??
I never thought I could connect so easily to people I never met before.
Today reminded me that we are all human.
Building/Learning new tools to better connect as we work in this virtual work world we now live in.
Rhy, Renee, and Hillary THANK YOU.
Highly Motivated! Hooyah! Thanks to the FMG team who put all this together!
This was a great session.
Thank you so much! Such a great session.
I agree with Kathy, I never thought it would be easy talking about some of these things with coworkers, let alone coworkers I've never met virtually or in person.
Today was a good start to getting us all reconnected. I think it was vital to talk face to face, engage each other and listen to each other. It was a good.
Connecting with others at PAC
Gratitude is more than a feeling
Good memories about people I don't often think about.
I am walking away with more gratitude as I self reflect from all the stories I heard the past 90 minutes.
Gratitude comes from the heart not the mind
Today reminded me that the people I work with have a lot in common with life experiences and that we hold a lot of the same values. It meant that I can feel better about going deeper with my colleagues.
I work with amazing people
Great reconnection with the PAC family!
Connecting with everyone and their stories was long overdue since we haven't been in person for so long
Feel a better connection with co-workers
Sense of community
We all need to feel connected. We are all dealing with things. Let's lean on each other and lift each other up.
Connected to the team and excited to keep it going
Thanks needs to be received NOT just given
Different way to spend time with the people I work with.
PAC values people
Today was an opportunity to see the personal side of some of those that we work with. It’s easy to get caught up in the work day behind a computer screen and forget there is another side to the people we work with.
Gratitude needs to be expressed frequently
Shared experiences and connections
The importance of checking in with each other as humans, not just coworkers.
As a new remote employee, I often feel alone. Now, I feel more connected with the team and I'm looking forward to what's to come in 2022!
The importance of listening - we are more connected and similar than we think
Great team, great expectations, great thank you's, great anxiety, great times for 2022
R.I.P - Reflection, Introspection, Passion
That it takes all types, experiences to evolve as a company....
I expected sales/product/services training, what I got was mental training. This exercise got me to think about the personal side of business, how to engage (when the time is appropriate) with people on a personal basis.
Problems are only as big as you make them, do not dwell in the past and move forward. Show love and appreciation to those around you
Really inspired, feel we’re on the right track and proud to be part of it.
Openness with colleagues and customers
Thinking of gratitude for both positive and negative experiences
I picked the right company to join. I’m blessed to be part of an amazing team. We are one team and each one of us is unique and special in our role on the team.
Gratitude to be with you all
I see opportunity. I see a willingness to win, lose, fail, succeed. I see cooperation and help. I see success and fulfillment
I think it is very beneficial for the overall team in terms of coming together in a new way. It is an ideal setting to open up sides of yourself that you normally wouldn’t have the chance to. I think we would really excel in a day-long exercise like this.
To keep being open so others can feel comfortable with me and develop meaningful relationships
I am very hopeful for the future based on our past. I know this team can do it. Bring it on!
I feel excited about the future of our company and team. I've seen true investment in the people of our organization, which means the world to me. I've been super inspired as well! Makes me think I should consider some additional hobbies/interests.
To not just go through the motions
Become more in the present moment
Very excited to be part of such a great group
The belief that we really can do. That we don't always know what others deal with and to keep an open mind and to listen authentically
The past few days have made me excited and optimistic. I am happy at the position the company sits, and am optimistic to grow here.
Was great to learn about the 2021 accomplishments and to connect with colleagues.
Excited for 2022!
Connecting with everyone on a deeper level and opening up is not easy for all, but it feels great. Thankful to be here with all of you!
Great experience connecting with everyone
There is nothing new under the sun. We are all experiencing similar challenges but gratitude is a cheat code.
A refreshing break from Slack, email, Zoom calls (oh wait, this is a Zoom call lol), but it was great connecting with co-workers on a non-work-related topic, and just having an opportunity to appreciate life, people, and the journey we've taken to arrive here today.
Today was helpful and a good reminder to see how people on this call each have their own unique stories and struggles and triumphs. It helped me recognize that I am not alone in some of the things I am going through in life. It helped remind me that we never truly know what another person is going through.
Today gave me a chance to break out of the "normal" cycle of living in this Covid world. A chance to be closer to some of my teammates. I am leaving this meeting more positive and thankful. Looking for the glass full in life.
Gratitude does not require a received gesture, action, or feeling. It is the opportunity to reflect on what has meaning to you personally and give thanks.
Even in the negative things, there can be positives (if we look for them)
Nice break. Connecting with people, and reflecting on how I approach people, learning to take a moment and connecting more frequently.
It was about building a foundation.
Realizing and conceptualizing the gratitude I feel and need to express.
Good to think about people that have shaped you or molded you and people you should have thanked more or need to thank that are still here
A time to get to know your peers better.
A time to express yourself.
A time to engage with others outside of a typical work environment.
Connecting with co-workers on a personal level
Able to get to know people I didn't know before.
It was an opening experience for me. I learned more about my colleagues and felt connected with them. How people go through different emotions and try to look at the positive side.
It is important to pause and reflect.
It meant that it's okay to be vulnerable and show your human self to colleagues. It meant that people have things going on that we can’t understand. That we have to be respectful of people’s choices. That we work to live, not live to work. That we can thank ourselves.
This meant recalibrating how we are all bonded together. Helping understand how to be more empathetic. Thinking of new ways to express gratitude. Being intentional about these things.
Be present and make connections meaningful. Remember we are all in our own unique situations/world/disposition
Taking a break for self-care, experience & appreciate what is right in my life, connection to the broader team, cathartic moment with teammates.
A time to connect and reflect with others. Today was a reminder to look for the positives in life and that gratitude is important. I realized others are also feeling tired, anxious, etc.
I know that I am part of a community where we thrive in the "real Struggle" and because of each other, we have a better chance of rising to a better version of ourselves.
It meant we are never alone, that we need each other, and that we are blessed to have the opportunity like this to share. That we are all deeply needed, valued, and loved.
Attitude is everything. You are not alone. Ask for help. Put it out into the universe
This connection with others was powerful. Thank you all SO much!!!
I am rejuvenated, to know that I am not alone, that there are other people who care and support me even if they don’t know me. That others are willing to be empathetic with me and connect with me to share in support and learnings.
I am not alone. Connection is important. Giving gratitude makes me stronger
Renewed appreciation of WOTC networking community.
A new perspective on where you can find gratitude.
So happy to see so many familiar faces
Show up and don't be attached to the results. Replace anxiety with gratitude.
Reframe circumstances. Trust in the future. Be open to possibilities even in negative circumstances.
We are a tribe/sisters and always can find someone to talk to. We are healers, naturally, and our experiences can help others
It meant realizing the importance of taking the time to connect with others. Appreciate the sisters' connections!
I entered the session today hesitantly and almost didn't come because I was busy and tired. I came anyway and was built up and rejuvenated by the session and my partners. So glad I came!
More time to connect with a community of strong women and being authentic and vulnerable without judgement.
Today meant connecting with other women when I’ve traditionally been scared or skeptical. What an amazing feeling to connect with other women.
Connection is a natural human desire. Give yourself credit. Give those near you credit.
This group is inspiring, incredible, QUEENS!!!

The importance of listening - we are more connected and similar than we think
Bringing us together for team building was great, not enough of it lately. Nice to see so many in a similar spot with personal and business demands
Be empathetically grateful
Appreciation of what everyone has gone through to get to this moment and to PAC
Show gratitude more often. Mean it when you say THANKS!
Insight to be thankful for the people that have got us to where we are today. Learning to pass this on to others.
A review of life skills and organization
Connecting with the team
Things always get better when we're real with one another
Today's session meant that we could come together and gound each other and find the support we need to improve, even at work.
1- Today felt like a break in the storm. Was able to pick-up some mess on the deck and adjust the sails before keeping on with the journey.
Learning through connecting with our peers
Sharing similar kinds of feelings
Being grateful for similar things and yet be excited and cautious in life
Good break from hassle of work and deadlines
good to talk about something other than compliance
good to talk to my beloved coworkers on a personal level
Good to catch up with my dear friends
Discovery of how we all feel and how recent events have shape us. I saw the gratitude people have for being where they are and the strength they have to face new challenges
chatting with co-workers, both new and old. taking time away from work-work to chat about concepts and feelings.
Great opportunity to pause and give thanks for an AMAZING team that has accomplished great things... I can't WAIT for what we will do next!
Thankful for being able to be reflective and taken out of the urgently now and being reminded of the blessing now..
Today brought forth new and deeper connections with coworkers and friends. As a team we were authentic and vulnerable in all the right ways.
This meeting is just what Emodo needed.
Become aware of the power of gratitude..
what started off being a bit confusing, not exactly sure what we were doing here, I'm leaving with a great respect and admiration for everyone, what we're doing now and what we're aiming to do in the future. Being open and in a safe place is healthy - for us, for others. thank you
Chance to take a moment to reflect on the company, where we are and where we're all going. The ability to chat to new people I hadn't spoke to on more than just work things felt great.
It was an opportunity to open up, share vulnerabilities and get to know each other in a deeper way. Inspiring and uplifting.
Reflection of how we got here. Thankful for where we are.
I connected with new co-workers and hearing other people's stories was truly eye opening!
There is always time for connection.
This was unexpected. It was a great opportunity for me to meet and truly connect with team members I had never met before. It all starts with gratitude.
Be more like Grandpa :)
Today was a chance to connect with the people that are a part of your life but rarely talk past daily tasks.
Today meant for me that PAC WW really cares about their employees to set up this wonderful meeting!
I’m part of the team even from thousands of miles away
Heart is what matters, we truly care, feel connected
Connecting (even just virtually) is so important
Thank those who help us.
Reminded me to pause, think about what I am grateful for, and communicate that (in a way that makes the most sense to the receiver)
Stop; Take time; Listen to connect
Pause for reflection
Reflection on the past and how it ties to the present. Realizing life lessons make you who you are today. Perspective that what could have been perceived as negative years ago is now seen as positive development.
Always be grateful
Self Reflection
Connection needs vulnerability
Remember that PAC as an organization is a collection of people with different experiences and needs. Take the time to recognize that and reconnect in a way that is important to the individual.
I learned the importance of not waiting to let others know how grateful I am for their relationship
Nice to be part of this group. Thankful
We are just people having life experiences - never know what will happen - so enjoy today
We all struggle with similar personal issues giving each other that connection and not to feel alone.
So great to be together again!
Find good in people and understand we are all different!
Being vulnerable is OK
It was a nice meeting to learn more about our people
We need to practice gratitude at home and at work in an empathetic way
It made me a little more aware. It’s a shared experience we can discuss in the future. It closed some gaps as I get to see and listen to people I know but seldom speak with.
Allowed time to look through a different lens. It encouraged thought-provoking concepts. Inspiration to show gratitude is often overlooked.
We are not alone. Recognition that one has value.
I appreciate everyone taking their time and energy to join us here at Grapefruit as we recognize the hard work of so many and the contributions of all of you from all over the map. As we close in on a year of COVID mitigation in congregate settings ranging from schools to summer camps to jails, it’s clear that we could not be as successful as we are—helping keep people safe and returning to their normal lives—without each and every one of you.
It shows me that my work then just who I'm around, there's a whole community around Grapefruit.
Tonight meant a lot due to this activity as I am feeling relaxed and connected to new people. Thanks to you and Grapefruit Management.
I think it was nice to learn about the perspectives of others and not just see people as their job but their actual face. I feel like I gained a lot of respect for those I had group rooms with.
I'm astounded by being at the same path as so many of my colleagues, I learned how many people are just like me and. Grateful for our leadership and the insight they have for us to be ourselves.
I was reminded of how young and incredible we are as Grapefruit.
It’s okay to feel vulnerable 2. Thankful for this opportunity 3. Glad that I am able to collaborate with so many amazing people 4. Blessed
It was truly wonderful seeing how many faces I saw who are part of our company. It was touching to connect with individuals I have never spoken to. It found tonight generating a palpable sense of togetherness.
This Meeting had many positive Elements: Connect to the Team in a really new and valuable way, let yourself touch from stories of ohers and help others realizing how important it is to say thank you
I so appreciated the openness and sincerity of the team in the breakout sessions and in the larger group sessions. THANK YOU! Connectedness to all of you…I truly value that and am feeling that!
Today was a great way to connect with members of the HEMA team, especially as very new addition. It was a humanizing experience to listen to the stories of some of my colleagues and think about for myself in the future. I look forward to building relationships across the team throughout 2022!
This means for me to be connected to the people as a human and not as a function. Thank you for this!
Reminder to ask more questions of my co-workers and to actively listen. The conversation can be enlightening
Allowed me to get to connect with a co-worker that I don't speak to regularly :)
Honoured to hear the stories
Felt nice to be listened to. Was able to connect with the group other than just emails.
I am happy and content that I joined the session. I feel optimistic and delighted that I was able to share my feelings. Going forward I would keep a gratitude journal.
New connections to others

Today was meaningful to me - being able to connect with colleagues in a virtual environment, hopefully, we'll feel comfortable doing more so after this session.
Today helped me realize the community that I have and building connections with people I normally wouldn't have the chance to do to our busy lives
A reset - connecting through a digital space takes more effort, I believe, than in person and the last few years have led to disconnect between people. My hope is that we will take the extra effort necessary to create that connection even when we're apart.
Provided the importance of thinking about how thankful we can be and should be. In our busy lives I can say we lose focus on what really matters and it's good to bring that up to the forefront of our lives
Today helped me realize all of the people I may have taken for granted in my life and to show them how much they mean to me. It was also great getting to connect and reflect with my teammates I'd never met before
Thank you so much Chris!! I wish I was able to join the full call but I enjoyed the call and as a new DocuSign employee everyone was so kind and welcoming
Focusing on connecting with people I felt like I barely knew, and helped me really know who I appreciate. Made me realize I owe a few people phone calls
I was able to talk to two ladies today that are SO strong and vulnerable I'm thankful to work with people like this
Today was a great reflective exercise of the impact of the kindness and appreciation that others have shared with me. In turn, it has caused me to awaken to the fact that I need to return that same positive impact by being accountable for my actions and making time to show gratitude towards others while I still can.
It also allowed for me to connect and build relationships with my peers who I learned are also dealing with the same things as me.
A rare opportunity to connect with several incredible people and to be reminded of how much I have to be thankful for.
Today was a wonderful diversion in meeting new people that work at BHL, getting to hear their stories, and just getting out of my comfort zone.
A moment to reflect.
IT was amazing to connect to others who made me feel supported. I love that I can now see ways to find gratitude even in the hard times and situations that have been difficult to process in my life. I now feel more hopeful moving forward and know that gratitude can help me feel more positive each day.
This meeting highlighted to me the importance of connecting on a deeper level with people in your environment. Instead of starting conversations with a general 'How are you doing?' knowing the power that can happen from asking about what is one word to describe how you are feeling right now and having the time to honor that
Connection. The importance of gratitude. Reflection."
Time to reflect and connect.
A moment to listen, show empathy, and share in a safe space.
Connecting with peers that I usually don't have an opportunity to connect with. I appreciate the time HR took to have you here and providing us with this opportunity.
Refocus on what and who really matters by staying in gratitude and love. With love being the nurturing of one's own or another's spiritual growth.
In every situation, there is something that is positive.
Today meant a nice break in the flow of work to be grateful, connect with my peers, and honor and recognize that each person is truly fighting a hard battle. Despite this, we can connect and make negatives positive as well as hold space for others who are struggling. We are spiritual beings having a human experience! Not the other way around!
This session taught me that it is okay to be vulnerable with others.
Exercise in not multi-tasking. Connection with others that I don't usually get in WFH. Enjoying the thoughts and feelings of others.
Growth in my journey.
Connecting with others. Showing empathy. Turning negatives into positives.
Another day of spinning my wheels, maybe now I will get to where I need to be.
I realize that even with bad situations/experiences, there is something to be positive and grateful about.
Learning from co-workers I've never met before.
We are all different but at the same time we are all the same. This was an unexpected blessing. I gained a few new friends within this company. Eye opening.
Sharing and caring with each other.
Better insight of gratitude on a higher level and hearing the stories and connecting with my colleagues on a deeper level. It made me to be in the here and now.
Today was filled with gratitude, love, inspiration, positivity, motivational, educational, and a host of other things!!
Taking the time to reflect on gratitude and remember mindfulness allowed me to pause and appreciate the small yet significant moments that often go unnoticed.
Release and helping others to release.
Our struggles are a learning experience.
This experiment meant a lot to me. This moment taught me how you never know what a person is going through. To appreciate the little things in life. Always be grateful.
Being grateful of what you have, not what you don't. Being blessed comes in many different shapes and forms. Being able to connect with people to understand their circumstances may be different but similar in some way. Looking at people on the outside doesn't define their reality.
Thank you so much for this! It was amazing!
Although I originally felt I could use this time to complete tasks, it added some balance. Hearing the perspectives of others both confirmed my feelings and opened my eyes to the feelings of others. This was a cool experience.
I'm relatively new to this job and it was so nice to connect! I was reminded to show my appreciation to those I love (and myself).
Today was a great release and a reminder to not always be focused on the past or the future, but being in the now
Moment of pause to reflect + we can talk more openly about ourselves and connect on things outside of work
Chris your positivity is infectious and I'm personally hopeful to carry these lessons forward
Today was a great way to get connected again. My hope is that we will slide into those slack DMs of folks we know, and don’t know, more often. And take the time to just shoot the shit.
Connectedness. You aren’t alone. Everyone has things they are going through / have overcome. Hope is that we can continue to foster an open culture where you are a good listener, advice giver and everyone is accepted no matter what.
today was about getting connected, keeping an open mind, staying thankful, and being positive
Today was about connection. I feel like I have lacked deep conversation like that outside of family for a long time, given all the craziness in the world. Today reminded me why connection is so important, especially with those outside of your closest circle
Today allowed space for authenticity and vulnerability that is often missed over Zoom. My hope is to create space for my team to continue this feeling moving forward.
Today meant an opportunity to connect with coworkers and find common ground. I hope we can all carry the positive vibes forward!
Instead of thinking about others most likely going through similar things as myself, actually got to hear it word for word. Looking forward to moving forward.
Connecting with things outside of work and celebrating our families. We work to live, not live to work
Being a new person on the team, I think today allowed me to connect with my colleagues on a more personal level that is hard to replicate in WFH
were not alone in all the difficult issues all face, and keep that in mind as we listen to other people. great connecting
helped me realize that we are all in this together and everyone has a different story to tell! I'm reminded that we are experiencing a lot of the same feelings and a lot more alike than we think

On one of our group breakouts: I have worked with someone in another market for years and that is the first time we have talked about something other than work related convo. Very refreshing!
Say THANK YOU more often.
Communicate the gratitude that we feel, more often.
It was heartwarming hearing from other members. We all have more in common than I would think.. sharing stories is always brilliant. im thankful
Greateful for my new family at Intersection.
Connecting with people makes me feel better
learn something new
Today was a realization of the things I need to do to be a better friend. To provide what I’ve been given consciously or unconsciously to other people in my life.
Today helped me to reset my mind and my attitude. I’ve been so focused on the negative and stressors in my own life and forget to look around and see the good and show gratitude more often.
think I need to be more aware of what I am grateful for and practice remembering that on a daily basis. It was refreshing to actually talk to coworkers outside of work and made me feel more part of the team. I appreciated everyones perspective and will take their thoughts with me.
We all have personal relationships outside of work, and his brought a sincerity and honesty to the work place. Why can’t this be the norm in our professional world?
This meant opening up beyond the standard conversations with coworkers. Talking about important people and events and feelings helps you understand someone more than general conversations.
Gratitude comes in different shapes and sizes
New, authentic connections with team members. Allowing time to reach out to others, and have genuine exchanges.
It was great to have deep, personal conversations with people who too often the convo is just business related
Thanking the bad as well as the good
I havent spent a ton of time digging in and understanding what is going on in life outside the four walls of Intersection. Today -- I made a new goal -- of creating space to learn about the people around me so I can listen more and come from a place of empathy.
There’s power in shared experiences, they can energize a group ben if the experiences aren’t “positive"
Today was a way to connect on a personal level with colleagues, despite being physically distant form everyone for almost 2 years.
Everyone is going through something
spending time on something important other than work
Today was a timely and welcome opportunity to connect with others during a day that I wasn’t feeling my best
I met and talked with people that I don’t normally share with. It was good to hear their perspective and in turn influenced mine
Today meant a chance to learn about my colleagues as people. Our lives outside of work inform so much of who we are. I’m also inspired to think about how I give thanks to folks and how to make sure I’m doing so in a way that they can really hear.
I felt inspired by people's ability to move forward from the past.. I remembered that there is always a person behind the emails etc
I came into this having a rough day, and came out of it smiling and truly happy in my heart. Thank you all!
Thank you, Thank you Chris and Papa, and for all of you for this groovy energy to build community!
Thank you all for sharing!
hard sometimes to figure out the language/gratitude that person wants to receive
thank you Chris and all of you.
Kindness….Loaning Someone your Strength…Instead of Reminding Them of Their Weakness
THANK YOU CHRIS AND EVERYONE! Loved this.
You have inspired me to host a gratitude dinner Chris!
I'll have to make it here much more often. Grateful to Chris and everyone
You're assuming I haven't been doing this already @Chris Schembra
A time of connecting to people. Learning more of how we are alike instead of different. It made Hope feel happy
Today was a reminder that we are all human. We experience primarily the same moments yet process them differently. We need each other in those processing times. We ALL do. Being kind helps processing. This is beautiful Chris.
Today was a reminder of how quickly we can go deep with people we don’t know when we’re in the right container and there’s permission to—which makes me wonder, how can I create more of that ease and permission in daily life? 🌞 With strangers AND people I’m close to…and folks in between. This was so special ✨
providing a catalyst to step back and do some introspection in a very welcoming environment. meet some really interesting people where i felt an immediate connection. in awe of chris’s use of technology to talk
Today meant connecting to parts of myself I had disconnected from. It meant be expanded by some wonderful people. It meant being grateful for others sharing with me. It meant go bigger.
Today was a beautiful reminder of the simplicity of human communication. It takes very little (6 mins) to make a big impact. Grateful.
Today was a beautiful time of connection and gratitude. Being intentional about coming together, listening actively, sharing openly, and supporting one another is a GAME CHANGER. Love you all!!!
Reigniting the gratitude and connection journey. Human connection is what makes life rich and beautiful and fulfilling. Our shared experiences bring us closer together and remind us of positivity.
Seeing old friends. Seeing courage. seeing gratitude, stories, and emotions connect us
Today meant:
For me to take a beat
To learn new ways to express gratitude
Make new friends who care about building community….
It all starts with love— and this group brought it— so thank you!
I am really grateful for the hope that this all has given me today as I am in a challenging season. All of you are my glimmers of hope. I also realize the importance of being grateful for the unsuspecting people you meet that can truly change the trajectory of your life. And I am definitely taking away that it is important to serve people how they want to be served and it brings over all joy and gratitude and connection.
I am so thankful to have another 747 experience. It is amazing how much we all have in common and how we can learn about each other when we are present.
From conflicted to courage via connection
Today was a flashback to my last 747, which was deep in COVID times. And helped me reflect on how these exercises are as important now as they were then. I also reflected on how gratitude is not a one off. The person I talked about in the breakout session is someone I've shown gratitude to before, but it's something I should and will keep doing because it's still so true
Today was a huge breakthrough for me that I deserve to grant myself the grace/permission for what I’ve gone through. Connecting with others is beautiful, as well as honoring that connection to myself
A calming experience!
Today was great for meeting new people and being inspired by things that were shared. I’ve been taking time to myself to disconnect and regroup in preparation for big change in 2025. It was great to get back to connecting with others.
Met some fabulous people. I felt heard. And sooo grateful.
It was an evening of connection.
It was an opportunity to be present.
It was an opportunity for self-awareness.
It was a moment of gratitude.
Refresh, Hope, Grateful! I needed this so much today.
I love connection. Finding “rooms” like this where thoughtful curation, serendipity, and intentionality converge to create magic isn’t easy to find. Thank you for making it available for me today!
Expansion and connection!
Chris you mentioned something important; people would not remember what you talked, but remember how they feel (or how I/my story made them felt). I am looking forward to seeing everyone through your gratitude practice. Participating in your activity is one of my developmental milestones in my life.
Tonight reminded me that serendipity strikes so simply and swiftly if you make room for it.
Finding connection with people I haven’t met before. Loving hearing about the successes of those I got broken into groups with.!
Great reminder there are people outside my circle of influence that can benefit from a gratitude conversation
People and their experiences are what makes this world colorful and amazing
Connecting with new people and to be present
This call was such a great reminder of how many wonderful people there are out there. So many people with such exciting experiments/transitions. So many with such deep insights. Just grateful
Meeting others who listened. Thank you! xx
Connecting with others is like a box of chocolates. You never know who you will meet!
I love meeting new people and hear their stories.
New friends. Shared experiences. We’re all more alike when we take the time to listen and learn.
Connecting with new people and to be present
Feeling grounded in SF for 2 months after moving to a new country each month of 2024. It’s been surreal to feel disconnected after being away from more stationary family and friends for the last 13 months - but being here tonight reminded me that there’s so much wonderful moments to find with strangers and friends of friends even in virtual settings — when we approach each other with curiosity and intention. We get to listen and lift each other up. Thank you to everyone here for making this space so special! 💜
and enjoyed learning more about people I may not know that well or haven't met before
A way to Google earth out of the stress and take a step back to refocus
I am going to make sure the kids don’t give their mom a tough time tonight and they say thanks
An opportunity to meet others. Connect on a deeper personal level. Reflect on people and events.
Happy/Reflective. Need to ask and listen more to how people like to receive appreciation
Today was reflective and inspiring. I was able to be present and listen to my peers and learn about them but also learn more about myself.
talking to people about something other than work
Today reminded me how much i value and need interactions with people while remote!
Wish I had more time to give to informal casual interactions
The things that I've gone through are not unique to me and I can find community by sharing my experiences.
Be present. Share more even when uncomfortable, especially thoughts of gratitude.
Today helped me realize that just becuase you communicate, doesnt mean you’re communicating in the best way for the other person and to pay more attention to how they receive and share communication
Reminder real connection is critical . Take time to express gratitude even if its 1 min.Overall great experience, wish everyone would’ve joined!
It was amazing growing and learning from our colleagues - across offices I’d likely not speak with outside of business. Sharing experiences with these colleagues was inspiring and heatwarming
Hearing what others are grateful for is inspiring.
Don’t be scared to be vulnerable, even if its with a strangers. You’ll be surprised at how much you have in common, and how much we all really need to connect.
Today was a refreshing reminder that the voices/ people on the other side of the call or email are real, just like you. We are all going through things and everyone just wanted to feel and be seen. Just being kind means so much.
Today was a good start to getting us all reconnected. I think it was vital to talk face to face, engage each other and listen to each other. It was a good.
connecting with others at PAC
gratitude is more that a feeling
Good memories about people I don't often think about.
I am walking away with more gratitude as I self reflect from all the stories I heard the past 90 minutes.
Interesting. Different way to spend time with the people I work with.
Gratitude comes from the heart not the mond
Today reminded me that the people I work with have a lot in common with life experiences and that we hold a lot of the same values. It meant that I can feel better about going deeper with my colleagues.
I work with amazing people
Great reconnection with the PAC family!
connecting with everyone and their stories was long overdue since we haven't been in person for so long
Feel a better connection with co-workers
Sense of community
we all need to feel connected. We are all dealing with things. Let's lean on each other and lift each other up.
connected to the team and excited to keep it going
thanks needs to be received NOT just given
PAC values people
Today was an opportunity to see the personal side of some of those that we work with. It’s easy to get caught up in the work day behind a computer screen and forget there is another side to the people we work with.
gratitude needs to be expressed frequently
shared experiences and connections
The importance of checking in with each other as humans, not just co-workers.
As a new remote employee, I often feel alone. Now, I feel more connected with the team and I'm looking forward to what's to come in 2022!!!
The importance of listening - we are more connected and similar than we think
Bringing us together for team building was great, not enough of it lately. Nice to see so many in similar spot with personal an business deamans
be empathetically grateful
Appreciation of what everyone has gone through to get to this moment and to PAC
Show gratitude more often. mean it when you say THANKS!
Insight to be thankful for the people that have got us to where we are today. Learning to pass this on to others.
A review of life skills and organization
Connecting with team
be more like Grandpa :)
Today was a chance to connect with the people that are a part of your life but rarely talk passed daily tasks.
Today meant for me that PAC WW really cares about their employees to set up this wonderful meeting!
I'm part of team even from thousands of miles away
Heart is what matters, we are truly care, feel connected
connecting (even just virtually) is so important
Thank those who help us.
reminded me to pause, think about what I am grateful for, and communicate that (in a way that makes the most sense to the receiver)
Stop; Take time; Listen to connect
pause for reflection
Opened mind - gratitude can be social.
look for opportunities to give gratitude; who most needs it?
ask for one word - how are you feeling?
Gave us a platform to be heard. We all have a voice.
Allowed us to get to know people on a deeper level.
Created 'real' 'authentic' connection points
Today was a helpful reminder to take time to appreciate what I have, even when I'm angry or stressed out. I have a lot. And I can probably help others get through a tough time by expressing and asking about gratitude, too.
Take a pause to reflect on gratefulness and establish connection with others who are in the same boat, realize many of us are experiencing the same struggles but we all have things to be grateful for.
Brought awareness of the moment
Reset my perspective
Felt like a moment in time reset to get on the path to gratitude with family, friends, teammates and everyone I run into. Love the fact that it enhances connection.
Remember about the really importan things. Valued love and beloved.
Today was about connecting with each other in an authentic way. Remembering at the end of the day, we're all humans. We all have lived experiences and together, we can support one another
Today meant gratitude, appreciation, love and sharing. My cup runneth over.
It was a much-needed reminder that I'm not the only one struggling with big challenges outside of work, on TOP of all the work challenges.
A reminder on giving gratitude to people in your life that you you take for granted (mothers, husbands, co-workers), who actually may really need it the most!
Today meant:- a mindful pause in a busy work week
recognizing someone who I under-appreciate in my life
vulnerability increases trust
Today was a reminder to feel connected and to reach out to people whom I normally wouldn't to express my gratitude. They might be someone who needs it the most.
A welcome pause in a busy life. A meaningful event for 'peace and joy' time window. A way to give back and connect with others. Find peace, give back and spread joy.
It was nice to meet colleagues and learn more about them personally as well as their vulnerabilities. We are all so much more than a face on Slack.
A moment of pause and reflection in a busy and hectic world.
reflection on the past and how it ties to the present. realizing life lessons make you who you are today. perspective that what could have been perceived as negative years ago is now seen as positive development.
Always be grateful
Connection needs vulnerability
remember that PAC as an organization is a collection of people with different experiences and needs. take the time to recognize that and reconnect in a way that is important to the individual.
I learned the importance of not waiting to let others know how grateful I am for their relationship
Nice to be part of this group. Thankful
We are just people having life experiences - never now what will happen - so enjoy today
We all struggle with similar personal issues giving each other that connection and not to feel alone.
so great to be together again!
Find and good in people and understand we are all different!
Being vulnerable is OK
It was a nice meeting to learn more about our people
We need to practice gratitude at home and at work in an empathetic way
It made me a little more aware . Its a shared experience we can discuss in the future. It closed some gaps as I get to see and listen to people I know but seldom speak with.
Allowed time to look through a different lens. It encouraged thought provoking concepts. Inspiration to show gratitude often over looked.
People won’t remember what you said or what you did but how you made them feel. Today was an opportunity to connect with my peers in a different way than is traditionally done. It was great to open up to a few colleagues and hear about their experiences. Grateful for my FDS fam!
It was great to reflect more on the amazing people in my life and remember how lucky I am. I will be reminded more often now to give that gratitude to the people in my life who deserve it. Also, it was great to connect with my colleagues on a deeper level than FactSet.
Ability to Connect with the team on a personal level, hearing about other's families, and sharing about my family is a nice change in the workday
A good reminder to take time and effort to be vulnerable and thank those who invest their time and energy into me, my life, and my career.
Chance to connect with new colleagues
Opportunity to reflect on gratitude practices in my life and some of the people I need to recognize more
Learn from the experiences and perspectives of others
Today was an opportunity to pause. It was an opportunity to pause and reflect on what it means to be grateful, connecting with people we see everyday on an emotional level.
Today was a reminder that I need to stop and reflect on how I'm feeling more often and take more moments to appreciate the people in my life.
Being able to connect with co-workers outside of work topics. Learning to take a step back, not get so caught up in everything. Thinking about how to be meaningful with gratitude.
It felt refreshing to feel more connected to colleagues after many recent team changes at FactSet. I’m excited for the next FY and to continue to grow these connections I made today.
This was a refreshing way to connect with coworkers who I do not normally get the chance to interact with, in a different medium than we usually interact. It was refreshing being able to discuss such a positive and thoughtful topic like gratitude and hear about others experiences.
Today was a great chance to disconnect from daily work, reconnect with colleagues who I don’t talk with on a daily basis, and learn a bit more about myself
Today I learned the importance of hitting pause. Instead of just going through the motions of life (work, personal life, etc.) I should pause to reflect and to be grateful. Not only just to be grateful, but to tell share that with others.
It was refreshing to talk to our colleagues about topics outside of work and grateful to work with some many lovely people. This is a nice way to lead into wellness day, feeling lighter Today allowed us to open up in ways we usually don't with coworkers. It allowed for different perspectives from others. It definitely gave some good takeaways to positively change moving forward.
Was able to connect with new people and also colleagues I haven't spoken to in a long time! It was nice to have the chance to express gratitude and talk about non-work topics with them.
Connecting with colleagues on our lives outside the office. Being introspective on what I am grateful for.
Opportunity to step back from day to day and build authentic connection with colleagues
A moment of reflection on what really matters
Taking a break from work to focus on something more personal with people I see everyday
It was a bit cathartic to step away from work for this short amount of time on a completely different topic, not just as an individual, but as a group.
Allowed me the opportunity to pause from the chaos of the day and to focus on the positivity that can be found.
Taking a moment to acknowledge what I’m grateful for
Life is short – cherish the connections, be present in the moment, appreciate those around us, and optimistic about the experiences in life along the ride.
It was an awesome internal networking event. I was grouped with a couple people I've never met before and got to talk about topics and listen to answers about people that wouldn't be normally discussed when meeting a colleague over Teams. It was a reminder to take time to reflect and ask people about their lives not just work.
All of us have non-simple lives, we all need to appreciate more of the little things and be grateful for the things that are not always obvious. I am happily humbled by those willing to think reflectively.
allowed me to take a step back from the busy feeling i had at the beginning of the session and have meaningful conversations with my co workers. Nice to take a break from the workday
Provided perspective on life lessons, where to focus time and energy, and great to reflect.
Thankful for the time today to appreciate the little things in life. Show gratitude to those around you and do not take it for granted. Gratitude given is not gratitude receive. Ask deep questions and most importantly - listen.
"In the span of this dinner, Chris helped us build stronger connections with team members, find gratitude for people in our lives that we don’t typically thank, and feel more connected than we have in months. We got the chance to really talk to our coworkers and connect with them on a personal level. It was an emotional and uplifting experience."
"I was very pleasantly surprised that the formula that clearly worked in a one-on-one setting could also work incredibly well in a group setting. The reaction from everyone at the first 747 dinner was overwhelmingly positive, and people walked away with true, lasting personal and professional relationships. This is something everyone should experience. It’s not just about revenue or sales; at minimum, you gain a real personal connection—and in this day and age, there’s no greater value than that."
"You were FANTASTIC with our stakeholders! From the session with leadership to the Exec Board panel at 12 pm, to hosting the dinner… everyone was engaged and participating. I’ve received SO MANY compliments from our day together. We are a better company because of you!"
"Chris has uncovered the ingredients to foster an environment for deep, honest conversation and connection—stripped bare of all the trappings and pretensions that too often prevent us from connecting in a truly meaningful way."
"What a great evening! Thanks Chris and Molly for hosting, Ashley and Tom for bringing us together, Stephen for the meditation, and thanks everyone for being your honest, authentic selves. Reflection on today—I was far less anxious about the challenges of running a business, took nourishing actions for myself, and felt more like a human being connected with others."
"Through your honesty, humbleness, and great food, at the end, everyone shows a bit of his/her true self."
"My experience at 7:47 was what I can equate to removing an old layer of yourself you may have been afraid to shed before. Being vulnerable in a place of non-judgment allows for a deep expansion of inner growth."
"That is the best dinner party I have been to in at least 10 years!"
"Chris, you have the gift of connecting people and drawing out their best selves."
"I am truly inspired by your ability to connect with people and really listen to what's being said while inspiring meaningful conversation among a room of people who had not necessarily met each other before. Yesterday, I felt a greater connection to a room full of previously random people than I can remember."
"What an amazing, warm, and wise group of humans!! There's nothing better than good food, good wine, and meaningful conversation to get you back in the groove."
"Guests experience authenticity, empathy, vulnerability, and safety—something our digital lives, cold and impersonal, have been starving for."
"The 747 Club is more than a dinner... it’s a movement, and the sole reason for that is its leader, Chris."
"Gratitude and love for the communion you create."
"You were one of the highlights of my trip. Never a dull moment with you around."
"Last night reinforced what I already knew. I left hopeful that the world will get better with people like you leading the way."
"You are an amazing host, thank you for the phenomenal conversation and the generous sharing."
"I just want to thank you for a fun and memorable evening. You have great energy, a true entrepreneurial spirit, and infectious optimism."
"Raising consciousness with tomato sauce. Chris Schembra has uniquely combined culinary experience with universal expression."
"The only thing bigger than Chris Schembra’s dreams are his heart! I felt completely and utterly welcome; there was unusual lightness and camaraderie."
"7:47 Dinners are the perfect vehicle for creating community and general awesomeness in this crazy city and beyond."
"I've never been to New York. Out of all the things I've done around the world, this has been bar none the coolest thing I've ever done."
"I feel the most authentic version of myself—something not many people experience ever. It's like a good high you don't want to come down from."
"My biggest takeaway was how great it felt having a sit-down, family-styled dinner, because I never truly had that growing up."
"Any week I’m not at the 747 Club, I’m #FOMO-ing."
"No words—TONIGHT WAS AMAZING."

Importance of sharing thanks in the language in which means the most to recipient.Connecting with team members I didn’t know.
I enjoyed an opportunity to be reflective and take a moment to pause and think about things I wouldn't normally within the work day. I appreciated hearing and connecting with my coworkers. It is important to make sure people you are grateful for know and hear about it often.
It was great to connect with colleagues about topics outside of work.
Continue being more present, grateful, and open. - Continue prioritizing those in my life and thank them more often
Great to learn more personal things about people I work with I would not usually have a chance to learn.
Walking through life with gratitude will make life (and work) feel lighter. It’s our responsibility to check in on others to make sure they are okay.
I cant remember the last time I felt this connected. thank you (gratitude) to everyone who trusted me with their story.
Today meant getting to know FMG better as a company and the individuals here. It meant solidifying my decision to join this team.
Today meant being authentic and radically honest. It meant sharing uncomfortable truths with people I don't know at all but that also meant connection. Not superficial connection but actually human connection.
Revealing
thankful for the stories told in my group today
Today reminded me I am not alone with my concerns/experiences. And it is not necessary to have a plan or be sure about where things are going.
Connection with others and myself! Positive mindset change. Hopeful. Good vibes.
I came to the annual meeting not expecting to leave feeling so emotionally fulfilled. Today I got to meet knew people at more than face value, I got to meet their raw selves, and that was enlightening.
A chance to connect with colleagues while we are all remote; to meet people as a new employee; to get more in tune with my current state
Reconnecting, especially with colleagues I work with on daily basis.
Getting to know FMGers as people
Nice to see lots of different faces of work colleagues, both people I've gotten to know and those who I haven't really met before
A day to connect and recharge.
Connecting with new people!
Learning, sharing. Be real.
A day to not think about work
I learned a lot about people I wouldn’t have known otherwise.
thankful for my family
I'm not sure I got that much out of today. This part really doesn't resonate with me well.
Reconnected
Appreciate the opportunity to connect with colleagues that I’ve never met before, and also to be able to say hi to people I haven’t seen in a long time.
Today was a long day but it was refreshing to see everyone. I made some awesome connections and got to feel proud of all of our work.
Today allowed me to forgive someone and shift that memory to reflect all of the positive outcomes it created
Reconnecting in a remote world!!
Not to underestimate small moments of reflection. Vulnerability is not as scary as it seems.
It was great being able to make new connections and revive old ones.
I feel (re)connected!!!
Enjoyed hanging with people I knew and didn't know.
Thankful that FMG values having a strong culture and connected workforce
Today is proof of how FMG really cares about all of us.

This exercise provided an opportunity to pause and reflect. It was also a positive way to spend quality time with colleagues, some of whom I have not worked with before.
Learned important of appreciation and the distinctions on what it means as we define our day/actions/attitude. Can be life impacting beyond showing thanks.

We were challenged to get really (un)comfortable and authentic, and I think we did great, but there’s work to be done.
Meeting new people and finding common ground
There's more than I could know personally but it was so great to learn little things about people through the chat

Great exercise in getting to know people, how we connect and the things we are grateful for

Today has been inspiring. I am grateful for this company and its people (OMG the PEOPLE!). I feel honored to be a part of it. I am hopeful for what is to come.
FMG cares, it is not all about the profit. I feel humble. I feel thankful.

you need to stop and be present it i
I feel more open to taking the change of putting thanks out there to others without needing a reason:) and not to be worried about their reaction.
Surprise; unexpected connections; heart-warming stories; beautiful humans; deeper appreciation for each other & life.

Helped me to re-connect within my heart and get out of my head. Feel connected and not alone.
Slowing down, connecting and focusing on others, truly listening. Unexpected lessons and way of learning.
Find the lesson in every experience. Pay that lesson forward. Acknowledge those who made a difference.
Get out of our comfort zone. Thing of people that we are thankful for that we may never have thanked. Sometimes its more important to listen than to be heard.
